How it works

CityThrone is a live world map of paid #1 city listings. Companies pay to hold the top spot in a city. Rank is purely by amount paid — no auctions, no accounts, no algorithms.

1. Pick a city

   Search or tap any city on the map. Hollow rings are open. Gold rings are held.

2. Claim or outbid

   Empty cities start at $1. If someone already holds #1, you must pay more than their amount to take the top spot. The previous holder drops to #2 (and so on).

3. Pay once

   Checkout is handled by Stripe. Each placement is a one-time, non-refundable purchase. No account required — just company details and an email for notifications.

4. Hold until someone pays more

   You stay #1 until another company outpays you. When that happens, you may get a dethrone email so you can reclaim the spot if you want.
